Hi In order for my mother in law to access her bank account in South Africa she needs to setup a power of attorney for someone in South Africa. She has been told she needs to get the POA form signed at the Embassy and get a letter from the Embassy. I have a few questions and hoping you can assist: * Does she need to get the form signed by the person she is granting the power of attorney to, before she comes to the Embassy? * Must she sign the form at the embassy or at the embassy? * Do the signatures need to be witnessed (for my mother in law and the person being given the POA) and if so, are there special requirements for the witnesses? * Does she have to come to the embassy or can this be done by post? Regards Kevin Rothschild
